Paddle Golf League

Founder & Product Design Technologist | Cutting Edge Content Labs | Meta Horizon Worlds

Overview

Paddle Golf League is a live multiplayer VR sports product that I design, build, and evolve as the sole system owner. The game includes physics-driven gameplay, competitive progression, and live service features, all implemented end-to-end using an AI-assisted development workflow.

The project serves as both a real shipped product and a concrete example of how complex game systems can be designed, implemented, and maintained by a single developer with modern tooling.

Product Systems

  • Physics-based paddle and ball interaction tuned for consistency, control, and skill expression.
  • Multiplayer session and shared-state systems supporting concurrent players and persistent match flow.
  • Rules, scoring, and edge-case handling systems for deterministic gameplay outcomes.
  • Realtime HUD and feedback systems communicating player state, scoring, and progression.
  • Persistence systems supporting progression, ratings, achievements, and player statistics.
  • Cosmetic and commerce systems supporting unlocks, purchases, previews, and equipment loadouts.
  • End-to-end gameplay flows spanning onboarding, matchmaking, active play, and results review.
  • Live-service foundations designed for future leagues, seasonal content, and progression updates.

AI as a Development Accelerator

AI-assisted workflows are used throughout Paddle Golf League to accelerate prototyping, implementation, iteration, and validation across gameplay systems, UI, and live product features.

These workflows reduce friction between design and implementation, shorten iteration cycles, and enable rapid exploration of complex interactive systems that would traditionally require larger multidisciplinary teams.
